Pamela Weathers Wiseman

Pamela Elaine Weathers Wiseman, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on February 28, 2026, in Midland, Texas. A woman of grace, intelligence, and deep devotion to her family, Pam leaves behind a legacy of love that spans generations and has touched countless lives.

Born in Coleman, Texas, on January 18, 1958, to Avalee and Bill Weathers, Pam was the fourth of five daughters—a “middle sister” who brought a unique spark to the Weathers household. In 1971, her family moved to Fort Stockton, where she would finish high school.

Pam loved being a member of the choir and involving herself in other extracurricular activities. A proud honors graduate of Fort Stockton High School in 1976, Pam went on to earn her bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Houston. During her time there, she served as the head resident assistant for her dorm, and as secretary to Guy V. Lewis, head coach of the famous “Phi Slama Jama” basketball team. She cheered for her Cougars every chance she had and carried that school pride with her throughout her life.

Pam and Douglas “Dubby” Wiseman had been close friends while growing up in Fort Stockton, attending school and church activities together. After beginning their professional lives, their paths crossed again in 1985. On March 7, 1987, they officially began their life together in marriage. Pam joined Dubby in Midland, where they built a beautiful life and raised their two children, Kalli and Cutter.

All her professional career was dedicated to serving others as a Certified Financial Planner. Known for her sharp mind and her genuine care for her clients, Pam was a trusted advisor and a respected figure in the financial planning community.

Beyond her professional success, she was a faithful soccer Mom and Coach and served at different times as PTA president and treasurer for Fannin Elementary.  She was also a devoted animal rescuer, which usually meant a house full of cats and the occasional dog—much to her children’s delight.

However, Pam’s greatest joy and true “wealth” was found in her family. She was the cornerstone of her home and a doting “Mimi” to her five grandchildren. She was always ready to support her family in any way she could—whether that meant driving her children all over the state for soccer games or helping finish science projects the night before they were due, she did it all. No matter what she was doing, she did so with a warmth that made everyone feel at home.

Pam was preceded in death by her parents, Avalee and Bill Weathers, and her sisters, Linda Weathers Evans and Janice Weathers Bartz.

Her memory will be cherished and lovingly kept alive by her devoted husband, Dubby Wiseman; her children, Kalli Martin (Ben) and Cutter Wiseman (Alyssa), her pride and joy; her adored grandchildren, Audrey and Hailey Martin, and Nolan, Harper, and Leah Wiseman; her sisters, Karen Franco and Patricia Butler; and numerous nieces, nephews, and dear friends.

The family invites all who loved Pam to attend A Witness to the Resurrection, held at First Presbyterian Church in Fort Stockton, Texas on Friday, March 13, at 11:00 AM. Following the service, please join the family for lunch at the church to share stories and celebrate Pam’s remarkable life.
