What a wonderful and appropriate tribute to a great man and friend to all. He and Rose raised two great young women and as stated was always joyously right in the middle of it all. Thank you Becky for posting this wonderful tribute. We love you all.

Your tribute to Ronnie is so beautiful and so very Ronnie. There was never a time that was spent with Ronnie that he didn't make you laugh. He so enjoyed working with the girls and Rose in the Pearland Band as a parent volunteer who drove the Ryder truck with all of the band gear. He took his job seriously because he knew how important it was for the band's success to have everything run smoothly. He was fun to work with in the fund raising efforts, car wash, cow bingo. On a personal note he was very competitive with his brisket making on his round pit, to him it far out paced the square ones. This competition went on for years. Ronnie, Rose and the girls have been our dear friends for over 30 years. We always enjoyed visiting Ronnie and Rose, as we were neighbors and knew that we would have a good time. There is no way to express in words our sadness in losing Ronnie. He was family to us. We will cherish his memory forever. Ronnie we'll miss you always! Until we meet again. Love you so much.

Rose, I am so sorry to hear of Ronnie's passing. He was a cherished friend. I have missed you both so much since you moved west. Please express my condolences to Becky and Ronda as well. I still have a cap that he left here the last time y'all visited me in Crockett. I was holding it in hopes that we could visit again someday. I think now I'll wear it occasionally and be reminded of Ronnie. -Jim-
