I am so sorry Robert is gone from Big Spring, I guess i thought he would always be there. I missed seeing him when I was there last time. We were friends for a long time and maybe Landon's only really good friend. I will miss him much. and I know Joe Paul you and Renee will also. Love you both, Jerry Burchell

Just learned about Robert's passing, not many people I knew who were as kind as he was. He always offered me his hand to shake and his kindness when I needed it. I had the honor of being his friend more than anything I will miss him and that smile that was incredible RIP my friend and to the family you are in my prayers!!

Joe Paul, Rene and family, I'm sorry I missed Robert's services. I didn't learn of his passing until afterwards. I have a lot of memories over the years of delinting his cottonseed and then he and I sitting down together checking the germination on all of them right before planting time, with him sorting them and deciding which he would plant first and which he would save for later. I don't remember any other customer who, consistently every spring, wanted to see his own seed coming out of the germinators like that. I think that was typical of the kind of farmer he was. And then there was his idea on cockle burrs. I had to swear secrecy on that one before he would tell me. Good memories. He was a good man. I'll miss his smile and friendly words when we ran into each other.

Robert was a chidlhood friend, living in the Knott community, I got to play baseball and basketball with the neighborhood boys, my triplet brothers and they needed more players, Robert tried to teach me how to shoot basketball goals but I was guard material. Always my friend, looking out for me. He will be missed!

So sorry for the loss, Robert will be missed by many, a kind man with a big heart, seems like he was always thinking about other people, and not himself. Our best to the family.
