A native of Springfield, Missouri, Gary moved to Texas in 1970 and was with the U.S. Air Force for eight years. He then moved to Big Spring and worked for the Federal Prison for 25 years where he retired as a Quality Assurance Manager in 2004. He and his wife, Connie, married in 2003 and enjoy RVing and traveling.
