Willis J. Freeman

Willis Freeman, 90, of Midland, died on Wednesday, March 17, 2004, in Odessa. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday, March 20, 2004 at Resthaven Memorial Park in Midland with Rev. Waymond Swopes, pastor of Greenwood Baptist Church, officiating. He was born on October 11, 1913, in Crosby Co., Texas and married Dorthie Bluhm on November 4, 1934 in Brownfield, Texas. She preceded in death on January 23, 2004.He was a contractor for the United States Postal Service for forty years. Willis was also a collector of stamps and coins. Survivors include one son, Kenneth Freeman of Midland, two daughters, Linda Spencer and Connie Lewis both of Midland; one sister, Anna May Culbert of Littlefield; three sisters-in-law, Johnnie Capps of Devine, Della Lindehan of Natalia, Dora Hooker of Devine; ten grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren, and two great great grandchildren.In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be made to Home Hospice, 901 W.
