During this time he was blessed to coach thousands of outstanding young men and coach with some of the very best coaches Texas will ever know. His favorite years coaching were coaching his son Ronn and later getting to share the sideline and coach with him. His other favorite years were coaching his 3 grandsons making a dream come true. His two State Champion 3-peats weren’t bad either. Really, he loved every season, day and minute he spent with the many wonderful people he shared life with.

There are so many players, coaches, trainers, student trainers and managers, parents, superintendents, principals, teachers, aides, janitors, counselors, office workers, librarians, band directors, lunchroom ladies, groundskeepers, sportscasters and writers and even referees that he loved like family. He always said he never worked a day in his life. We thank all of you for being a part of that amazing life!
In lieu of flowers, please donate to your favorite: booster club, team, band, drama club, theatre or charity of your choice. He would say take care of your kids.
Most of his players will always think of him with a “Hubba, Hubba Men” and “Good, Good, Good”!
*Those of you that were able to make the walk-through, we hope it helped!
