William “Willie” Eugene Harrison unexpectedly left this world to be with our Lord at 11:51 PM on January 8, 2014 in Midland, Texas. A memorial service will be held Saturday, January 11, 2014, 2:00 PM, at Valley View Baptist Church, 5500 FM Rd. 1213 in Midland, TX with Pastor Robert Frazier officiating.He was born to adoring parents, Nolan “Gene” and Opal Harrison, on January 25, 1960 in Lawton, OK. He moved to Midland, TX as a young husband & father where he continued to grow a loving family and build a lengthy career in the oilfield. He later started his own business as a handyman by beautifying his & others’ homes. He most recently took a transporter position at Midkiff Transports. Willie enjoyed fishing, playing poker, and eating buffet crab legs. However, what he enjoyed most was being Papa to his 6 grandbabies. He made it well known that they were his pride and joy. He was a gentle giant who will be remembered for his silly jokes, stubborn will, and big heart. Willie was a loving father, papa, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend. His absence will be forever felt and his memory will remain in the hearts of those who loved him.Willie was preceded in death by his parents, daughter, Julie Harrison, sister, Patsy Woods, and brother, D.A. Doyle Woods.He is survived by his devoted daughters, Jennifer Fuentes and husband, Jason, of Biloxi, MS, Robin Niehenke and husband, Greg, and Beth Harrison, all of Midland; step daughters, Courtni Robinson of Midland and Natasha Sanders of Dallas, TX; his grandchildren, Madilynn and Jackson Fuentes, Rebekah and Andrew Niehenke, Brooklynn Dow, and Kade Logan. He is also survived by his brothers, Jarold Woods and wife, Dianne, Johnny Woods and wife, Greta, Joe Woods and wife, Judy, all of Lawton, OK, J.V. “Woody” Woods and wife Judy, Mike Woods, and Kevin Harrison and wife, Paula, all of Midland. He is survived also by sisters, Fern Brown and husband, Carl, of Conroe, TX, Ann Large and husband, Reno, of Lawton, OK, and Sheryl June Parsons of Midland; as well as by numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, and dear friends.,
