W.B. "Bill" Robbins, Jr. passed away on Tuesday, August 10, 2010.He was born January 2, 1926 in San Antonio, Texas to W.B. and Olive Louise Robbins. He married Mary Creason on August 6, 1946 and they were married 53 years upon her death in 1999.He is survived by his three children: daughter Judy Robbins and her daughters Barbara Boudreaux, Brenda Olson, and Bonnie Henry; son W.B. "Trey" Robbins III, his wife Kathy and children Will Robbins, Blake Robbins and wife Ashley, and Lee Robbins; son Royce Robbins, wife Tonja, and three children Cleigh and wife Lori, Kristen Robbins and Kelsey Robbins. He is survived by eight great grand children.Bill spent most of his adult life working in the oil and gas business for Milchem, Inc as a Mud Engineer, Regional Manager, and finally in Executive Sales. He retired in 1987.Bill is best remembered as a steadfast and loving husband, father, and grandfather and also an avid sportsman who passed the love of hunting on to his children and grandchildren. Bill was sustained by the love and ministry of his church family. Especially meaningful to him was the weekly communion and faithful friendship he received from Home Eucharistic Ministers and others at Christ Church. Memorial services will be held Thursday, August 12 at 4:30 p.m. at Christ Church Midland, 5501 N.
