Trevor Ashley Roten

Trevor Ashley Roten, age 53, of Port Aransas, Texas, passed away in Corpus Christi on January 12, 2023. He was born to Rodney and Linda (Caffey) Roten in Temple, Texas, on November 27, 1969. Services will be held at 4:00 p.m. Saturday, January 21, 2023, at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Chapel in Midland, Texas. Trevor will be laid to rest next to his dad at Evergreen Cemetery in Stanton, Texas.

Trevor attended schools in Midland, Stanton, and graduated from Big Spring High School in 1988. Besides Texas, he also lived in California, Colorado, Arizona, and New Mexico. Above all else, he loved his children, Amanda, Ashleigh, Alec, and Kayla. His nieces and nephews thought he was the “cool” uncle.

He was preceded in death by his father who passed away 14 days ago on December 30, 2022; grandparents, Mamie and Louis Roten, and Ralph and Ladie Fred Caffey.

He is survived by his children, daughter, Amanda Adamson and husband, Skye of Midland, daughter, Ashleigh Roten and partner, John DiMase, son, Alec Roten, daughter, Kayla Gray and husband, Michael; and grandchildren, Braedon Jimenez, Braelynn Jimenez, Branson Adamson, Ethan Trevino, Amelia DiMase, and Noah Gray; mother, Linda Russell and husband, Micheal; sisters, Angie Kinnett and husband, Mike of Edgewood, Texas, Stephanie Melton and husband, Derrick of Midland, Texas, and Timothy Russell of Wilmington, North Carolina; aunts and uncles, Deborah and Kenny Heath, Dianne Haun, Robert and Patty Roten, and Rhonda Gilliland, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
