Tom Wilkerson, 74, of Midland, passed away on Monday, February 10, 2020 in Odessa. Private family services will be held.Tom was born on October 31, 1945 to Carrol and Margaret Wilkerson in Lawton, OK. He was a Summa Cum Laude graduate of Sul Ross University. He served his country faithfully in the Army for 12 years. He served the business community of Midland/Odessa for many years. He loved to read or listen to any kind of book, he believed that reading provided knowledge and knowledge gave you insight. He enjoyed the challenge of playing golf and enjoyed spending an afternoon on the golf course with his family.He is survived by his mother, Margaret Wilkerson; 2 daughters and their husbands, Tanya and Archie Moore and Shannon and Scott Schley. He was very proud of his 4 grandchildren and their spouses, Travis and Jordan Moore, Taylor Schley, Philip and Grace Moore, and Amanda Moore. He was thrilled about the addition of his two great granddaughters this year.He is preceded in death by his father, Carrol Wilkerson, his brother John, sister Carol and grandson Jordan Schley.Arrangements are under the direction of Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home & Crematory of Midland.
