Thomas was born on August 30, 1949, in Victoria Texas. He passed away on December 12, 2023 in Midland, Texas. Thomas grew up in Texas where he attended San Marcos High School and Texas State University. Here he met and married his wife Jeanne Riddle Wagner. At Texas State University, he earned a degree in physics. Thomas worked and lived in Broken Arrow,
Oklahoma for 15 years, where he and Jeanne raised their two daughters and later moved to Houston, Texas, and then finally to Midland, Texas. Thomas loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
He is survived by two daughters Catherine Glasscock and her husband Mark Glasscock of Odessa and Victoria Hintermaier and her husband Timothy Hintermaier of Midland and four grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his wife Jeanne Riddle Wagner.
