With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Tom Hosier, who peacefully departed on May 5th.
Graveside service will be held at the Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Abilene TX. on May 9th, 2024, at 2PM.
Tom was born November 6th, 1941, in Beatrice, NE. to his loving parents, John and Rosalie Hosier. He proudly served in the Air Force before furthering his education in Missouri where he earned degrees in Psychology and Sociology.
A dedicated family man, Tom leaves behind his beloved wife, Juanita Hosier, his son Tommy Hosier, daughter-in-law Danielle Hosier, daughter Raelan Moore, son-in-law Randy Moore, grandsons Byron Hosier and Bailey Hosier, spouse Taylor Hosier, Andrew Moore, Mason Hosier, and great-grandchildren Matthew Hosier, and Jaydie Hosier. In addition to his immediate family, Tom leaves behind his adopted son Matt McCain, sister Jody Cook, and a host of nieces and nephews who held a special place in his heart.
Tom’s zest for life was evident in his love for family gatherings, although often accused of cheating at Pictionary, he loved playing board games! He delighted in traveling to his grandchildren’s sporting events, capturing every moment as the family paparazzi. He loved the holidays and was known affectionately as the best Santa ever, bringing joy to all. His absence leaves a void in the hearts of many, but his memory will live on through cherished moments with loved ones.
The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the staff at Brookdale, Midland Hospice, Interim Hospice, Laman Lusk Veterans Home, and Pastor Michael Sanchez of True Lite Christian Fellowship, along with all friends and family for their support.
Tom’s memory will forever be treasured by those who knew him, and his legacy of love and laughter will continue to inspire generations to come. May he rest in eternal peace.
