Terri Kay Garrison, beloved wife, affectionate mother, wonderful daughter and true friend, passed from this earth and gained her heavenly wings on Wednesday, March 10th, 2021 from complications of Frontotemporal Dementia.
She was born on November 20, 1959 to Bobby and Laneita Bingham. She grew up in Seminole, TX. She attended Seminole High School where she was the Track Princess, Miss S.H.S, Lion’s Club Queen, Varsity Cheerleader, Junior Class Favorite, class Vice-President and many other accolades.
Terri married the love of her life, Gary, in 2002 and combined in marriage shares 6 children and 14 grandchildren. Terri and Gary enjoyed traveling together, riding on their motorcycle, spending time with family and their tight circle of friends called “Section 8.”
Terri was a wonderful employee of Oncor for 31 years and finished her working career at Concho.
She will always be remembered with her big “Farrah Fawcett hair.” “The blonder and bigger the curls the closer to God,” she would say! She taught others that kindness, manners, thank you notes, and hot rollers never go out of style. If you can imagine turning on a light in the room, that was Terri. She was the energy in the room, the life of the party and the heartbeat of the family. She was everyone’s biggest cheerleader. Terri always had a solution to any problem! And what could not be fixed by advice, could always be solved by listening to a song by her all-time favorite music artist…Sammy Hagar!
She was the sweetest woman with the biggest and whitest smile. Her children will tell you she was a fierce mother bear. Her fight to live, faith in God and the love of family and friends helped sustain her through the last few years.
