Susann E. Kozlik, 60, of Midland, passed away Tuesday, May 4, 2010 in Midland. Susann was born May 25, 1949 in Racine, Wisconsin to Elizabeth (Kops) and Victor Grabowski. She graduated from Horlick High School in Racine. She married Joe Kozlik on June 12, 1971 in Racine.Susann was a member of the Salvation Army and served on their board for a number of years. She was a loving and caring mother, grandmother, daughter, sister and wife. She enjoyed watching her grandchildren play baseball. She loved taking care of her family, enjoyed bingo, gambling and collecting gumball machines.Susann fought, until the very end, a courageous battle with cancer. Her perseverance and positive attitude were admired by all who met her. She was loved by many, known for her generosity and kind and giving heart.Survivors include husband, Joe of Midland; daughters, Karriann Lynde and husband Trevor of Parker, South Dakota and Kelly Jo Smith and husband Carl of Midland; father, Victor Grabowski of Midland; sister, Sandra Nobles and husband John of Midland; 8 grandchildren, Jesse Smith, Joseph Smith, Jeffery Smith, Jordyn Smith, Nicole Lynde, Dylan Lynde, Morgan Lynde and Levi Lynde; and her friend, Shelby of Midland.She was preceded in death by her mother.Memorials may be made to Hospice Midland, PO Box 2621, Midland, TX 79702.Arrangements are under the direction of Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home & Crematory of Midland.
