Stephen Lewis Satterfield, 53, of Midland passed away on July 14, 2018 in Kerrville, Texas. He was born September 1, 1964 in Albuquerque, New Mexico to Marvin L. and Patsy Faye Satterfield.Stephen married Janie Hall on April 10, 2009 in Las Vegas, Nevada. He was full of life and always brought a smile of laughter to whoever he encountered. He was an amazing husband, father, grandfather and friend. To know him was to love him, it was as simple as that. One thing he truly loved was to ride his motorcycle, it was his sanctuary. He always said it was the most freeing feeling in the world.He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Jeffery Satterfield.He is survived by his wife, Janie Satterfield; his daughter, Carolyn Michelle Brockington; his son, Stephen Taylor Satterfield and his wife, Julia; a step-daughter, Megan Hall-Delao, and her husband, Brandon; a step-son, Cham Hall; brother, Donald Cantrell and his wife, Tanya; 3 sisters, Bonnie Derington and her husband, David, Annette Booth and her husband, Billy, and Theresa Satterfield Dean; 14 grandchildren, Jayden, Randi, Kash and Kane Brockington, Noah, Lucas and Hanna Satterfield, Braeson and Evan Delao, Makayla and Ryker Miller, Raven, Gaven & Kendall Hall.The family would like to express their gratitude to all his amazing friends who have come together to make his final ride a memorable one and to One Hope Church of Christ for their love and support during this trying time.The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, July 20, 2018, at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home & Crematory, 3800 N. Big Spring, Midland. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 21, 2018, at One Hope Church of Christ at 2503 W. Ohio Street, Midland.
