Stephen was born on November 24, 1993, in Midland, Texas, to Stephen Marlowe, Sr. and Monica Marlowe Kunkel. Stephen graduated from Lee High School in 2012. Employed by Pennell & Marlowe Land Surveyors as a Land Surveyor. He loved playing pool, darts, video games, and basketball with his brother, father, numerous best friends, and was an avid reader.

Stephen is survived by beloved fur babies Hazle and Valerie, by his dad, Steve and wife Linda Marlowe, mother, Monica and husband JD Kunkel, his brother Teagan Marlowe, grandparents Joe and Becky Kunkel, aunts/uncles Cheryl and Wade Mertz, Regina and Roy Sanders, Billie and Russ Lopez, Brian and Alicia Marlowe, Dawn Myers, Andrew and Heather Craig, numerous cousins, Chris and Summer Mertz, Ryan and April Ellison, Kristin and Alex McLeod, Misty Pace, Jessica Washington, Tiffany Miller, Marissa and Oscar Lovera, Michael Lopez, Weston Cantrell, stepsiblings Zack and Taylor Kunkel, Destany Kunkel and Thomas Willams, Kolten Kunkel and Kadynce Joy.

Stephen is preceded in death by his grandparents, Bill and Dorothy (Dottie) Marlowe, aunt Sandy Gilson, great-grandparents Jess and Peggy Thompson, Nana Debi Myers, and cousin James Lopez.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Springboard Midland.
