I am about a generation older that Skipper and never knew him personally but knew the Driver family. Father Driver and daughter Cecil, a little older than I, were the ones I knew best. We were neighbors. Hutchison ranch was between us. I worked for Mrs. Hutchison for a year and we occasionally worked stock together with other neighbors from the Wrage ranch, Drivers and Midkiffs. --Remember some dances at the Driver's and Judkins. -- Fond memories from long ago when life was different.

We are so sorry for your loss and our hearts break for you and your family. May God Bless You and Yours at this time.
Wanda, I was shocked to find Skipper's picture in the Big Spring paper this week. I've thought of you off and on over the years; most especially every time I've received an invitation to join you to relive our '61 graduation. I'd made the trip long ago, but October is the very worst month of the year in my business so can't run away, even for a few days. However, I do wish I'd made it back long before now. Skipper was a great guy, you all have had a wonderful marriage and I know you'll miss him dearly. My best. Bill Bonner
Our hearts are broken this morning, Wanda and Dane, but rejoicing on this Easter Sunday that Skipper is with the Lord he loved so much. Our prayers and thoughts are with you and have been since we learned of Skipper's passing last night. Wish we had known you were in Temple because we could have come to you. As it is, we will see you on Tuesday. We loved Skipper so much...and love you even harder right now, Wanda!
Wanda, I'm so sorry to hear about Skipper. You and your son are in my thoughts.
Wanda & Dane, please know that the Hill family grieves for your loss and celebrates Skipper's life. He will be missed and we'll always remember him and keep you and your family in our thoughts and prayers.
JUDY KAY AND I ALWAYS ENJOYED OUR VISITS AND GET-TOGETHERS AT THE RANCH FOR THANKSGIVING AND THE RODEO VISITS.
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.
I went to school with both Skipper and Wanda, Skipper was a great guy and Wanda was a sweetheart. My condolences to Wanda and the family.
Wanda, I was so sorry to hear of Skipper's passing. I will always treasure the early relations Jane and I had with both of you. Although our paths grew farther apart I will always consider both of you as my friends. Just know I care and send my condolences to you and family. Skipper was a real gentleman, an mentor to many and lead a hell of a life with so many friends and will never be forgotten. May God bless you and family.
Dane, Jennifer, Jordan, Wanda and extended family: Just want you to know you are in our prayers and thoughts during this difficult time. Love you and remember you have an angel on your shoulder.
I had the priviledge of working with Skipper while I was employed by State National Bank of West Texas. He was a trusted member of our board of directors and always a welcome site when his smiling face would come through the door. His dedication to everything he was involved in is a tribute to him and he will certainly be missed by everyone he has touched over the years. I was blessed to have known him. May God Bless Wanda, Dane and family in this difficult time. With Love, Patti Hunt
Skipper lived down the street ,Johnson, in Big Spring when we were school age. He would come down and play at times. Then he married Wanda who graduated with me from BSHS, they where two people I admired. Wanda and family so sorry for you lose, pray you feel God's comfort as only He can comfort. I will continue to pray for you as you walk with out him in your presence but in your hearts. Sally Boroughs Roger

I was so lucky to know all of the Driver family through my husbands family - the Chaneys. What a wonderful family they were and Skipper was a perfect example - he carried on the traditions and values of his family from grandparents on down. He is one of the many good guys of Big Spring who are surely missed when they are gone. My thoughts and prayers are with the family. Anne Chaney
Wanda, Dane and family, I know your hearts are broken. I can't imagine. My clearest memory of Skipper is the day we brought Clint out to sit a horse for the first time and Skipper assured me this little seven year old would be fine on this old, slow horse, no problem. But he forgot to close the gate and that old slow barn sour horse took off as fast as a race horse for the barn with that little man holding tight and Skipper running behind them hollering, he'll be alright, he'll be alright! I love you all so very much.
Wanda, I was so sorry to read about Skipper. He will be missed. May God be with you and your family in your time of sorrow. Regards, Murl
My husband, Bud Lea, who passed away Oct of 2008, and Skipper were friends for years and fellow rodeo enthusiasts, cowboys and ropers. We always admired Skipper for the man that he was and our hearts are saddened by his passing. However, Bud will be glad to see Skipper in heaven and who knows, by now they probably have a roping of some type organized! Wanda, Dane, Jennifer and Jordan (who we have not had the privilege of meeting), may God hold you close during this time and may the loving memories you harbor in your heart be a comfort and blessing to you 1
Please accept our deepest condolences for your family's loss.
