Shirley C. Greenfield, 53, of Big Spring, died on Friday, September 10, 2010, in a Midland hospital. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, September 14, 2010 at Nalley-Pickle and Welch Rosewood Chapel with Rev. Jim Binnix, pastor of Midway Baptist Church and Eddy Pitchford, minister at Coahoma Church of Christ, officiating. Interment will follow at Trinity Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Monday at the funeral home. Shirley was born on December 20, 1956, in Rotan, Texas and married Tim Greenfield on December 15, 1990 in Coahoma.She came to the Coahoma/Sand Springs area in 1972 from Sweetwater with her family. She graduated from Coahoma High School in 1975 and then attended Odessa College and also Howard College. Shirley worked for Coahoma State Bank, now Western Bank, for 21 years, retiring in 2009 due to her health. Shirley was loved by everyone she met.She was a member of First Baptist Church of Coahoma and was involved in the Big Spring Women's Club.Survivors include her husband, Tim Greenfield of Big Spring; one son, Jim Boudreau of Midland; one daughter, Tia Grant of Big Spring; one granddaughter, Makinsey Grant; one grandson, Cody Gentry; her mother, Iva Jaye Roberts of Big Spring; three brothers, Chuck Roberts and wife, Kathy of Odessa, David Roberts and wife, Jonana of Port Lavaca, and Mike Roberts and wife, Jenna of Denver City; her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Dennis and Willie Mae Greenfield of Big Spring; her sister-in-law, Denise Bogard and husband, Chris of Big Spring; four nephews; seven nieces; two great neices; and one great nephew.
