Sheila Jo Martin (Prescott), passed away on Sunday January 30, 2022. A celebration of life will begin at 10:00am on February 4th at the Branch at npw.

Sheila was born on July 11, 1954 in El Paso, Texas to Eddie Jo Prescott and James (Jim) Allen Prescott. Sheila grew up in Snyder, Texas and later moved to Midland, Texas. She worked as a production analyst at Parker and Parsley and Prime Energy. Sheila enjoyed spending time with her three children, five grandchildren, and three great grandchildren. She also enjoyed spending her time at Daytime Bingo and casinos. Sheila had a strong willed, loving, and caring personality.

Sheila is survived by her brother: Glenn Prescott and wife Kathi Prescott: children: Melissa Evans, husband James Evans, Michelle Maldonado, husband Jerry Maldonado, Shayd Martin, and wife Morgan Martin: grandchildren: Ashlyn McKay, husband Matthew McKay, Macy Evans, Hunter Evans, wife Ariana Evans, Hayden Simmons, and Shelly Martin: great grandchildren: Alana McKay, Connor McKay, and Barrett Evans: and great friends Dana Atwater and Joe Rand.

Sheila is preceded in death by her parents, grandparents, and numerous aunts and uncles.

The family would like to express their gratitude towards all family and friends for their generous support.

Condolences and Prayers to the family. Sheila was one of the first people I got to know when I moved to Midland. I cherish the friendship we had.

Our deepest sympathy goes out to Sheila's family and friends. She was a wonderful person and will be missed dearly.

Jo and James Prescott’s door was a revolving door! It welcomed all the family and friends. I have many memories of us Sheila. Carolyn. Glenn, Polly and Delmer and others eating, laughing and playing games at the dinner table. Enjoying all the holidays together. Watching all our children grow up. Greet Memories last forever.
