Sharon Lee Abney

Sharon Lee (Dublin) Abney, 74 of Abilene, passed away on December 10th, 2025. Graveside services will be held at 3:00PM, Thursday, December 18th, 2025 at Resthaven Memorial Cemetery.

Sharon Lee (Dublin) Abney was born on March 15^th, 1951 in Gorman, TX to William Ernest Holladay and Jessie Lee Falls. Sharon grew up in Gorman, TX.  She married George (David) Dublin in 1968, until his death in 2011.  They have two sons John (Eric) Dublin and Damon Dublin.  Sharon lived most of her life in Midland, TX, where she worked for Greenwood ISD, worked in the veterinary field for numerous years until starting her own business Bed ‘N’ Bisket Pet Suites until retirement.  She loved dogs and showed Boston Terriers.

Sharon is survived by her two sons John (Eric) Dublin and Damon Dublin, grandkids Amanda Sanches, Michael Dublin, Shae’na McClelland, Shawnda Rooney, Makenzi Dublin, Jocelyn Dublin and eight great grandkids.

She is preceded in death by father William Ernest Holladay, mother Jessie Lee Falls, husband George (David) Dublin and brother William Eugene Holladay.

The family would like to express their gratitude towards all friends and family.
