Sharon Ann Tarbet, 76, of Big Spring, Texas, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 17, 2025. She was the wife of Bob Lee Tarbet, and they shared 34 years together.
Sharon was born in Dallas, Texas, to Randell and Lois Conine on May 16, 1948. After high school graduation, Sharon attended David Lipscomb College in Nashville, Tennessee, to study English Literature. Upon college graduation, her career as an English teacher spanned more than 30 years.
Sharon worshipped at 14th and Main Church of Christ. She enjoyed sewing, quilting, reading, and spending time with her children and grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband, children Scott Oliver (Cheryl), Hayley Meek (Steven), Hilary Lindley (Todd), and five grandchildren Erin, Kinsey, Claire, Jack, and Caroline. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Visitation will be held at Nalley-Pickle and Welch on Sunday, January 19, 2025, from 2:00pm to 4:00pm.
Memorial donations may be made to Gifts of Hope in Midland, Texas.
