Scotty Ray Robertson, at the age of 71, passed away on July 30, 2022 from long standing heart and lung issues. Scotty was a caring father, husband, and friend. Scotty was born February 11, 1951 in Seminole, OK, to Ed and Edith Robertson of Seminole. He is survived by two sons, Lance and Casey Robertson, and five grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his dear wife of twenty four years, Suzanne Robertson, earlier in 2022. Scotty and Suzanne were longtime residents of Durant, OK.
Scotty attended school at Varnum near Seminole, OK, where he was a standout baseball player and student. Scotty will be remembered as a quiet and humble man, offering support where ever he could to family and friends alike. He took great joy in spending time with his grandchildren and family. He was a devoted husband to Suzanne and they spent their last years together at a nursing home in Tishomingo, OK. Scotty was fond of fishing and hunting and shared these passions with his sons as they grew up.
A memorial service for Scotty will be held at a later date. In lieu of any flowers, the family suggests donating a book on hunting, fishing, or gun collecting to your local library in memory of Scotty.
