Sandra L. Lane, 59, of Big Spring, died Saturday, March 29, 2014 at her residence. Graveside memorial services will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, April 2, 2014 at the Peace Chapel at Trinity Memorial Park with Rev. Calvary Callender, pastor of First Church of the Nazarene, officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Tuesday, April 1, 2014 at 301 Dealy. She was born December 8, 1954 in Somers Point, New Jersey and married Walter Lane November 10, 1973 in Linwood, New Jersey. Sandra graduated from Mainland High School in Mainland, New Jersey in 1972. She moved to Big Spring in June of 1980 and was an administrative assistant for the State Health Services. Sandra was a loving wife, mother and \Granny\, and enjoyed gardening, fishing and taking care of her dogs. Survivors include her husband, Walter Lane of Big Spring; a son, Ben Lane and wife, Amy of Big Spring; a daughter, Danielle \Dee\ Lindsey and husband, Mike of Big Spring; five grandchildren, Wyatt Lane, Megan Lane, Dusty Kirby, Katie Kirby and Zachary Lindsey all of Big Spring; one great-grandchild, Kinsley Kirby of Big Spring; two brothers, George W. Murray, Jr. of New Jersey and Bill Murray of Tennessee; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, George W. Murray, Sr. and Gladys Murray; one brother, John W. Murray; and one sister, Gladys Ann Markowitz. The family suggests memorials to the First Church of the Nazarene, 1400 S. Lancaster, Big Spring, Texas 79720.
