Ruby Lee Isenberg, 78, of Midland, Texas, passed away on Friday, October 15, 2021.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, October 19 from 5 – 7 pm at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home, 3800 N. Big Spring Street, Midland, TX.
Services will be Wednesday, October 20 at 2 pm at the Assembly of God Church located at 100 W. Wadley, Midland, Texas.
Interment will be Friday, October 22 at Condon Grove Cemetery, Milburn, OK, under the direction of Holmes Coffey Murray Funeral Home, in Durant, OK.
Ruby was born on September 29, 1943, in Luxora, Arkansas, to H.D. (Doc) and Juanita Ethel Boleyn. She was raised in Enochs, TX by Dutch and Blanche Cash. Ruby enjoyed 25 years of marriage to Bill Isenberg before he was called home. She thrived on helping others, especially her church families. She was an awesome cook and loved “being in charge” of church functions. Ruby also got to make memories with some of her great-grandchildren.
Ruby is survived by her son, Jerry Waltrip (Debbie) of Midland; Daughter Sheryl Lovejoy (Russ) of Vian, OK; and Step-son Mark Isenberg (Cheryl) of Ada, OK. Eleven grandchildren – Sally, Reese, Layne, Taylor, Kyle, Katie, Magen, Sydney, Derek, Ryan, and Bradley; numerous great- grandchildren; two brothers, Big Boy (Harvey) Boleyn & wife, Cuc of Nacogdoches; Jerry Boleyn & wife, Dorothy of Sweeney; sister-in-law, Gwen Boleyn; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Isenberg; her parents; step-daughter, Sheila Ellis of Gurdon, Arkansas; one sister, Sue Chesshir & her husband, Don of Floydada; and two brothers James Boleyn & his wife Sandra of Littlefield; Harley (Buddy) Boleyn of Amherst; and infant, twin brothers.
The family would like to express their gratitude towards the ICU/CCU staff at Midland Memorial Hospital. They showed the utmost care and love to Ruby throughout her stay.
