Rosa Ochoa Reyes, 75 of Midland, passed away on May 12th, 2021 in her home surrounded by family. Visitation will begin Sunday, May 16th at 2:00 pm and a Rosary will be held on Monday, May 17th at 7:00 pm at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home Chapel. Memorial service will be held Tuesday, May 18th at 10:00 am at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Serenity Memorial Gardens.
Rosa was born on June 21, 1945 in Ojinaga, Chihuahua, Mexico to Simon and Maria Ochoa. She loved being surrounded by her family, especially her grandkids and enjoyed watching her Texas Rangers baseball every chance she could. While she will be greatly missed by those left behind, there is peace, God’s peace, the peace that surpasses all understanding. She is finally made whole, healed and home with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
She is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, Luis G Reyes; her three daughters, Irene Valenzuela, husband Henry, Diane Cortez, husband Raymond and Lisa Reyes Molder, husband Bryan; her son Matthew Galindo, wife Mari; grandchildren, Amanda Garibay, Stephen Valenzuela, Joshua Galindo, Luis Esquibel, Gunner DeLeon, Malia Jimenez and Savannah Rodriguez; and eleven great-grandchildren; she is also survived by her siblings; Oscar Ochoa, Sr., Bertha Jimenez, Elia Warda, Ellie Castillo, Mary Ann Lopez and numerous nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Simon and Maria Ochoa and brother, Vicente Ochoa, Sr.
