Rosa Marquez, 86, of Midland, passed away Sunday, December 2, 2018 surrounded by her family. A Christian prayer service will take place at 6:00 pm and a Rosary will be held 7:00 pm on Wednesday, December 5, 2018 at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Chapel. A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 am, Thursday, December 6, 2018 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Serenity Memorial Gardens. She is survived by her children, Ema Marquez, Rosa Aleman, Luz Elva Marquez, Loelia Marquez, Mely Garcia Marquez, Cruz Marquez, Jose Abelardo Marquez Sr., and Gustavo Marquez.Rosa and husband Jose lived in Namiquipa Chihuahua and moved to Nuevo Casas Grandes, Chihuahua where their children were born. They moved to Midland in late 1981 with their children. She was a very devoted Catholic woman, she loved serving the church in every event or need. She was a Matachin dancer for many years. She loved to travel, dance and most of all, always being with her family.She is preceded in death by her husband, Jose Trinidad Marquez, son, Sergio Baltazar Marquez,and granddaughter, Idaly Baeza Huitron.She is survived by her children, Ema Marquez, Luz Elva Marquez, Loelia Marquez, Mely Garcia Marquez, Rosa Aleman, Cruz Marquez, Jose Abelardo Marquez Sr., and Gustavo Marquez; 43 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.Arrangements are under the direction of Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home & Crematory of Midland.,
