Ronald “Ronnie” Hodges, 66, of Midland, went home to be with the Lord on Easter Sunday, April 12, 2020. Private family graveside will be held at Fairview Cemetery. Celebration of Life will be held at Bellview Baptist Church in Midland at a later date due to current gathering restrictions.Ronnie was born on February 17, 1954 in Corsicana, TX to Ruth and Fred Hodges. Ronnie served in the United States Army from February 24, 1972-1978. He was a member at Bellview Baptist Church and had a servant’s heart for our Lord. He moved to Midland in 1974. Ronnie was employed at Region 18 for 20 years. He was a loving and caring father and husband. He will be missed by many.He is survived by his wife, Reita Hodges of Midland; daughter, Vicky Hodges of Odessa; brother, Carl Hodges and wife Kathy; brother, Tommy; sister, Linda Hair all of Winnsboro, TX; sister, Joy Stricklin and husband, Barney of Dublin, TX, three granddaughters, two grandsons, and two great grandsons; as well as many nieces and nephews.He is preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Ruth Hodges, and brother, Jerry Hodges.In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials be donated to DAV charitable trust at cst.dav.org.Arrangements are under the direction of Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home & Crematory of Midland.
