Robert “Robby” Edward DesJardins III, 25, of Midland, passed away on Monday, September 19, 2022 in Buda, TX. Robby was born on March 4, 1997 in Midland. Robby graduated from Permian High School in 2016. He played football and baseball. He loved taking his dog, Hoss, on walks in the park. He loved to write music and swore he was going to be the next big rapper!
Robby had the most contagious smile and could light up any room he walked in to! He could make anyone laugh, he found the good in everyone.
He’s survived by his mother Alissa, her husband John, his dad Vance; his sisters Layni, Mayci (Conner), Sierra (Robert), Bayli (Nick), Torie; his nieces and nephews, Bryli, Camdyn, Cooper, Westyn, and Kingston; his grandparents Mark and Rhonda Chamness, and grandad Dwayne Washington, many aunts and uncles; and other family members, Robert and Raegan DesJardins and sisters Audra and Kodi.
He’s preceded by his uncle Curtis, grandpa Bobby and grandma Francis, and grandmother Janette (Ganny)
Pallbearers will be Robert Fields, Blaire Kenney, Archie Chamness, Preston Earls, MarcAnthony Prieto, and Connor Walton. Honorary pallbearer will be Jeff Scott.

It has taken me awhile to write about Robby. Our family is heartbroken that he is gone. We met Robby on the first day of school in 8th grade. He instantly fit in and was part of our family from that point on. He was funny and made us laugh a lot. I find myself smiling at Robby-isms. We have so many wonderful memories with Robby and I will cherish those. I have found many fun photos that our family will treasure. Your charm could get you out of a lot of jams! You and our son, Preston, had plenty of fun and mischief. It's probably good I don't know about all the crazy stunts you two pulled. For Preston, you were a brother. For Rich and I, you were like a son. For my sister Denise and my parents (Mimi and Grandada),, you were family. We are all heartbroken. I would love to have just one more day. I know Robby is in Heaven, with a PERFECT life before him. That is the only thing that gives me comfort. So many are hurting down on earth, but Robby is having his best life now! I continue to pray that our God will show me signs from Robby and I know he will. Robby - watch over us, guide us and protect us. We continue to pray for all of his family members - he loved you all! Take comfort with each other and show the love that Robby would. He was special - one of a kind! Rest easy sweet boy!
