With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of cherished First Christian Church member and devoted family man, Robert Darrell Crudgington, on February 9, 2025, at the age of 51.
Born in Breckenridge, Texas on January 26, 1974, to Robert and Linda Crudgington, Robert was raised with a deeply rooted love for family and community. As a devoted husband of (25) years and father of (5), Robert cherished his family with deep devotion and love, especially his wife and love of his life, Sheila. A dedicated diesel mechanic of (34) years, Robert took tremendous pride in the mentorship of young professionals within his field and other fathers within the special needs community.
Known for his witty sense of humor, love for life, and unwavering faith, Robert touched the lives of so many during his walk upon this earth. He is survived by his wife, Sheila and (5) children, Isaiah Crudgington, and fiancé Brianna Newton; Autumn Crudgington; Simon Crudgington; Destiny Crudgington; and LeeAnna Crudgington; sister, Joy Ann Raines; brother-in-law, Mark Kilgore; and multiple nephews, nieces, God children, and foster children.
A CELEBRATION OF LIFE will be held February 15, 2025, at First Christian Church, Midland, Texas, at 3 pm. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to Sharing Hands, A Respite Experience, Inc. (SHARE), a local nonfit that provides support for families raising children with special needs; SHARE has helped support the journey of the Crudgington Family for the past (16) years. Donations may also be made to First Christian Church of Midland where Robert and family are active members. If flowers are sent, please send them to the church not Nalley-Pickle & Welch.
