I met Rita in 1989, and she has always been one of my very favorite people. She was always the life of the party and never failed to put a smile on my face. Even though we haven't seen other as much in the last several years, we stayed in touch, and it was always like we had just talked the day before. She just knew how to make everyone feel like they were her best friend and that is a trait more people (myself included) should learn. She will surely be missed!

Rita I love you. I’ve lost a BIG piece of my heart and soul. You were my biggest cheerleader, you believed in me And encouraged me to go for my dreams, you inspired me to believe in myself and my God given gifts, you never once discouraged me and would not take my excuses! You had the biggest heart, I was blessed to travel with you, and to even be your safe space when you couldn’t handle the stress of being elsewhere! I will never be the same without you! A part of me passed with you! I could go on and on about our adventures and shenanigans, maybe I’ll write a book! Haha! I can hear your input on that! I’ll wrap up by saying you were taken to soon, wish I was with you! You’ll be with me always! Love Ginger! “Little girl”
