Riss Wiley Roberts age 79 departed life on June 14, 2017 at Kingwood Medical Center. The family will be accepting guests from 5:00 pm-7:00 pm at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home on Sunday, June 18, 2017. Funeral services will be at 2:00 pm at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Chapel on Monday, June 19, 2017. Interment will follow at Garden City Cemetery in Garden City, Texas at 4:00 pm. Services will be officiated by Dennis Davis. All are welcomed to attend & celebrate Riss’ life.Riss was born on August 17, 1937 in Garden City, Texas to parents R.W. & Ubie Roberts. Riss enjoyed golf and spending time with family.He is survived by his brothers, Doss Roberts and Bowman Roberts; sisters, Myrna Thadaline Rainey and Della Banks; and children, Johnny Roberts, Randy Roberts and Melissa Dereta.Riss is preceded in death by his parents and brothers Joel Roberts and Ross Roberts.Arrangements are under the direction of Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home & Crematory of Midland.
