Rick Sledge

Rick Sledge, 51 of Midland, died on Friday, August 1, 2003. A memorial service will be held at 10:00 AM Monday, August 4, 2003 at the Church In The Wind in Midland with Terry Odom pastor, officiating and assisted by Rev. Robert Kirk. He was born on July 23, 1952, in Hobbs, New Mexico New Mexico and married Tammi Snodgrass on October 6, 2001 in Midland. He was a veteran in the Air Force from1971 to 1975. Rick lived in Midland for several years and worked in the oil industry as a drill pipe inspector. When he wasn't at work he enjoyed playing with his Chihuahuas. He was a wonderful person and will be sadly missed by all who knew him. Survivors include his wife; Tammi Sledge of Midland; one son; Quinton Sledge of Alpine; daughter & son-in-law; Jessica & Benjamin Roberts of Midland; parents, Jack & Bobbie Sledge of De Soto, Texas; mother and father-in-law, Shirley & Ray Miles of Midland, Texas; two sisters and brothers in law, Beverly & Bob Fontaine of Cheyenne, Wyoming, and Melanie & John Parkins of Midland; one brother, Paul Sledge of Dallas; one granddaughter, Caitlyn Roberts of Midland; one brother-in-law, Charles Snodgrass of Dallas, and numerous neices and nephews.
