Richard (Rick) Butler

Richard (Rick) Butler met Jesus early in the morning of October 24, 2024. His sister, Brenda Yowell, was by his side. He was born in Eastland, Texas on April 15, 1952, to Marjorie and Charlie Butler. He went to Robert E. Lee High School and was a member of Crestview Baptist Church.

Rick is survived by his beloved sister, Brenda Yowell; his son, Rick Butler II and his wife Tina; grandchildren, Kayla and her family, T.J. and Abby; he had a special love for his nieces and nephews.

Rick is preceded in death by his mother and dad and his beloved brother-in-law, Alton Yowell.

A celebration of life will be held in Eastland, Texas at a later date.
