Richard Kenneth White

Richard Kenneth White, 78, lifetime resident of Stanton, passed away Sunday, September 7, 2025.  He will lie in state Wednesday, September 10, 2025 from 9am-9pm with the family receiving friends from 6pm-8pm at Gilbreath Funeral Home.  Graveside service will be at 10am, Thursday, September 11, 2025 at Evergreen Cemetery.

Richard was born July 8, 1947 to parents David Milton and Lavelle White.  He married Charlotte Kuhlman September 1, 1967. He was a cotton farmer all his life.  He served on the Grady ISD School Board and the Tarzan Gin Board.  Richard enjoyed hunting, fishing and shooting sports as well as spending time with family and friends.  He and Charlotte traveled together many places.

He was preceded in death by his parents and great grandson Owen Leoffler.

Richard is survived by his wife Charlotte White of Midland; sons Glen White and wife Lela of Lenorah and David White of Stanton; four grandchildren Megan Leoffler and Landrie White both of Midland, Callie Jackson of Brownwood and Keith Jackson of Stanton; 2 great grandchildren Tristian McCallister and Brynlee Leoffler; and one sister Linda Taylor and husband Walter of Stanton.
