Peggy Ann Telshow reposed to the lord January 4, 2023, in her home in Midland, Texas. She was 93 years of age. Born Peggy Ann Turner to Lloyd and Modest Turner on March 27, 1929, in Houston, Texas, Peggy was the second of five children. Her sister, Helen Coogler, and her brother, David Turner, preceded her in death, and she is survived by her brothers Thomas Turner, and Charles Arthur Turner. Peggy married her childhood sweetheart, Fred M. Telschow Sr., in Houston, Texas, in 1946, and he preceded her in death after their 63-year marriage.
During their life together, Peggy and Fred ranched and raised horses and cattle and owned several businesses. They enjoyed boating, camping, floating the Frio, flying their airplane, and traveling extensively throughout North America and Europe. Peggy is survived by her son, Rev. Fr Mark (Fred) Telschow Jr. of Midland, Texas, her daughter-in-law Corey R. Telschow, and her three grandchildren Alexandra Levine, William Telschow, and Nikolaus Telschow. She cherished her grandchildren, family, and friends, and Peggy will be missed by her church family in Midland.
Funeral Services for Peggy will be held at Holy Cross Orthodox Church in Midland, Texas, on Monday, January 16, 2023, at 12:30 pm. Internment will take place at Prairie Lea Cemetery in Brenham, Texas, on Wednesday, January 18, 2023, at 2:00 pm.
