Peggy Lou Strong

Peggy Lou Strong, 70, of Midland, passed away on Saturday, October 22, 2022. Graveside services will be held on Friday, October 28, 2022 at 11:00AM at Resthaven Cemetery.

Peggy was born on October 16, 1952 to Mary Lou and Dalton Mitchell in Amarillo, TX. She graduated as valedictorian of her high school class, prided herself in winning a twist competition and an elementary summer reading program for most pages read, and proudly married Ronald Leslie Strong on February 10, 1973. Living in Midland since 1985, Peggy pursued a career in real estate, which she loved. She enjoyed helping people find their home. She became Gigi in 2004, and was most proud of that title. 

She is survived by her son, Tony Strong and wife, Latisha, and children, Revyn, Gage and Rush of Midland; daughter, Kathryn Hardaway, and husband, Miles, and children Dalton and Travis. 

She is preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Strong; father, Dalton Mitchell; mother, Mary Lou Mitchell; and sister, Charlotte Brown. 

The family suggests memorials be donated to Alzheimer’s Association.
