Peggy Mae Duncan Ford
Was promoted into Christ’s glory on Friday September 24th at her son’s home surrounded by her family. Peggy was born October 10th 1927 in Ardmore, Oklahoma. She attended William Woods College and then eloped with her love William “T” Ford at the age of 17. Midland, Texas was her home for 53 years where she was an active advocate for Christ Jesus through such ministries as Christ Church Anglican, Christian Bible Study (CBS), Nursing home event planner, crisis prayer hot line, meals on wheels, and many mission trips including Russia, Mexico, and Africa.
At 47, Peggy cried out to God at her father’s funeral and Jesus answered her with a supernatural encounter which transformed her life and has greatly impacted the lives of her family and friends. The day before her promotion to heaven, Peggy Said,” We are the bride of Christ and I say “I do!””. She was generous beyond measure and never failed to meet a need of others.
Peggy joins her husband William “T” Ford and her son William T Ford III in Christ’s presence and will be waiting in glory for those who have survived her; Her 3 children; Patricia Ford Laning, her husband, Lane; William Michael Ford, his wife, Cynthia; James Kyle Ford, his wife, Irina and her 9 grandchildren; Nicholas Laning, his wife, Hannah;
Kelly Ford Reese, her husband, Harrison; Jason Laning, his wife, Sallie; Haley Ford Blonkvist, her husband, Chris; Chelsea Shay Friesen, her husband, Luke; Cameron Ford, his wife, Katie; Daniel Ford, Jason Ford and Katarina Ford along with 10 great grandchildren.
Memorial service will be held on Wednesday, September 29, 2021 at 2:00pm at Christ Church Anglican and reception to follow at the church. Private family burial will be held at Resthaven Cemetery.
