Pauline Marie Fawks, 89, of Midland, TX passed away Thursday, December 15th in her home with her loving husband of 71 years by her side. Visitation will be held Wednesday, December 21st between 6-8 PM at Nalley-Pickle & Welch located at 3800 N. Big Spring Street, Midland, TX 79705. Services will be held Thursday, December 22nd starting at 12:00 at Nalley-Pickle Welch & Funeral Home and Crematory located at 3800 N. Big Spring Street, Midland, TX 79705 with graveside service to follow at Resthaven Memorial Park located at 4616 N. Big Spring Street, Midland, TX 79705.
Pauline was born on July 17, 1933 in Colorado City, TX to Calvin “Cap” and Lottie Rasco. Pauline graduated from Midland High School in 1950. She met her husband-to-be David in 1948, and they became engaged in 1950 and married in 1951. They settled into their home in Midland in 1960 and have lived there ever since. They have 3 children, Paul, Brenda, and Celena; 5 grandchildren; and 8 great grandchildren. Pauline loved windmills, knitting, going to the lake and riding in the boat and traveling the nation with her husband.
Pauline is survived by her husband David Fawks of Midland, her son Paul Fawks of Midland, daughter Brenda Truelove of Midland, daughter Celena Ivanitch of Round Rock and all of her grandkids and great grandkids.
She is preceded in death by her parents Cap and Lottie Rasco of Midland, and her sisters Mildred Rinehart of Midland and Naomi Munsell of Odessa.
She was a dedicated and wonderful wife, mom, Mamaw and will be greatly missed, but is now at peace with her Lord and Savior.
The family would like to express their gratitude towards hospice and Meals on Wheels for all of the assistance and support they provided.In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Alzheimer’s Association www.alz.org, Home Hospice Midland www.homehospicewtx.com, Meals on Wheels Midland www.uwmidland.org, and www.seniorservicesmidland.org
