Pat married Donald Alton Allen December 16, 1950 in Big Spring.She attended Coahoma High School and graduated from Big Spring High School in 1950. She loved sports and was a standout basketball player while at Coahoma. She was also a cheerleader and drum major. After transferring to Big Spring for her senior year, she loved being on the volleyball team as Big Spring had no girls’ basketball at that time. After marriage, she played softball on a city league.Pat worked for Montgomery Ward Co. and later Arco Oil and Gas Company and retired in 1985. She enjoyed fishing, sewing, quilting, and cooking and loved being with her children and grandchildren.She was a member of the Coahoma Church of Christ.Survivors include her husband, Don Allen; one son, Bruce Allen and wife, Marsha; one daughter, Cathy Ward and husband, Ronnie, all of Coahoma; four grandchildren, Shea Chapman and husband, Paul, Kirk Allen and wife, Jennifer, Derek Ward and wife, Mendy, all of Coahoma, and Jill Gernentz and husband, Ryan of Midland; eight great-grandchildren, Katie King, Sam King and wife, Hanna, Lexi King, Wesly, Daniel, and Breely Chapman, Kelsey Sanders and husband, Trace, Kacee, Kristin, and Tatum Allen, Cooper, Thayne, and Paige Gernentz, and Easton and Emma Ward; one great-great granddaughter, Natalie Chapman; and two sisters, Mary Anderson and Judy Pherigo both of Coahoma.She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Floyd, Fred, and Robert Kiser; and three sisters, Opal Kiser, Shirley Wilcox and Fern Roberts.The family would like to give their sincere thanks for the Big Spring Skilled Nursing Center for their love and care of Patsy Allen.The family suggests memorials to the Coahoma Church of Christ building fund, P.
