Patricia Darlene Johnson

Patricia Darlene Johnson, 62, of Midland, passed away on Saturday, December 11, 2021. Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, December 21, 2021 at 3:00PM at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Chapel. Livestream will be available at www.npwelch.com.

Patricia or Trisha as she was fondly known was the sweetest and most loving person to ever know.  She never lost her temper unless she was being pestered by her lifelong best friend since grade school, Kim Mobley Holden.  No one knew how to push her buttons quicker than her son, Eric Damron, but they always ended up laughing.

Trisha loved her family and friends with all of her amazing heart – especially her children Eric and Ryan Damron.  She loved nothing more than trying to embarrass them by singing and dancing to 70’s oldie music!  Her favorite artists were Earth Wind and Fire and Lionel Richie, whom she had a blast seeing in concert.

Trisha was a career nurse.  She especially loved working with babies.  She welcomed many lives into this world with such care and compassion – a hero to many people.

She loved all animals but especially cats.  She has a cat named Psycho – yes that is her real name!  Her son, Eric, will take special care of Psycho now.

Trisha enjoyed fishing and going to the beaches of Florida, no matter how many times she got stung by a stingray.

She is loved and will be missed very much by many people.

Patricia is survived by her children Eric Damron and Ryan Damron; her brothers and sisters Carolyn Gregory, Gerry Broyles and wife Juntipya , Earlene Broyles, Gary Broyles and wife Karen Broyles.  Her nieces Lori Scott and husband Scooter, Dusty Palmer and husband Bill, Teresa Wancio and husband Charlie, and Farah Irvin.  Her nephews Lance Irvin and wife RuthAnn, and James Broyles.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Bernice Broyles nee Drumm and her father Elmer Ray Broyles.
