Pallie Ann Riffey, 100, longtime resident of Big Spring, passed away, Thursday, February 5, 2026. She will lie in state Sunday, February 8, 2026 from 1:00 pm until 9:00 pm at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am, Monday, February 9, 2026 at the Nalley-Pickle & Welch Rosewood Chapel. Interment will follow at Trinity Memorial Park.
Pallie was born December 16, 1925, to parents James Washington Croft and Sarah Jiamma (Coats) Croft in Proctor, Texas. She was a homemaker and loved reading, embroidering and watching soap operas.
Pallie is survived by her children: Andrea Mills (James), Virginia Hendricks, Betty Wilson, Sarah Lake (Frank), Mary Chappell, Tammy Riffey Douglass and Otis Riffey; 17 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren and 27 great-great grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years Otis Riffey, son James Riffey, grandson Steven Mills, sons-in-law Luke Wilson and Henry Hendricks and sisters Delamae, Helen, Christine and Cleo.
