Orfelina Laurel Heinrich

Orfelina L Heinrich, 92, of Mexico peacefully passed away on Wednesday, August 28^th, 2024, in Midland, TX. A visitation will begin at 6:00PM to 8:00PM on Monday September 9^th at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral home and Crematory. Services will be at 10:00AM Tuesday September 10^th, at npwelch. Interment will follow at Rest Heaven Cemetery.

Orfelina was born on November 7, 1931, in Mexico and the only daughter to Marta y Felipe Laurel.

Her childhood and most of her life was in Mexico until she came to the States to work to support her three children before her marriage to Peter to whom she was married for 38 years. She was a very joyful and smart person who loved music, dancing and laughter. She was always either listening or singing to her Mariache music. A loving and nourishing mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

Orfelina is survived by her children Alma West (husband Mark), Delfa Salgado (husband Jaime), and  Jose Laurel (wife Nellyn). Five grandchildren Andre Furtado (wife Sarah), Jose Laurel Jr (wife Martha)

Monica Rodriguez (husband Roland), Alex Laurel, Michael Salgado, and seven great-grandchildren.

Orfelina is preceded in death by her Parents and husband.

The family would like to express their gratitude towards Hospice and Midland Memorial stuff for their very tender care they provided during her last days, and to friends for their support during this sad time in our lives.
