My deepest condolences to Monte’s family. I worked with Monte for many years at Midland County. When I saw that she had passed, my heart was broken. I loved Monte. Everyone loved Monte. She was the warmest and most wonderful person. She made the world so much brighter for all of us.

I am sorry for your family’s loss. I knew Monte from church. We both served as volunteers..Aways enjoyed our visits in our chat. I can think of no better verse to describe this precious child of God:: “I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day—and not only to me, but also to all who have longed for his appearing.” 2 Timothy 4:7-8 NIV
Brenda Bradshaw left a message on October 29, 2024:
I delivered Meals on Wheels to Monte ( and Bear!) and I just loved going to her house each week. She had the most beautiful smile and was always so positive. She would always tell me to “ be careful” as I left and always thanked me for coming. We had a sweet friendship and I am so sorry for the loss felt to your family.

Precious Monte. She was one of the finest women I have ever known. She and Candy and I took a mental patient to Wichita Falls one time. That was nearly 35 years ago. Those two taught me so much. We will miss you Monte Kay!
