Minnie Cannon

Cannon, Minnie, 94, of Big Spring, died on Thursday, December 7, 2000, in a Midland nursing home. Graveside funeral services will be at 3:00 PM Saturday, December 9, 2000, at Trinity Memorial Park with Chaplain Skip Hedgepeth of Home Hospice, officiating. She was born on November 5, 1906 in Athens, Texas. Ms. Cannon came to Big Spring in 1941 from Wichita Falls. She had worked as a counter clerk for Ideal Cleaners for 25 years. She was a member of Birdwell Lane United Methodist Church. Survivors include one son, Don Cannon of Midland; her twin sister, Vinnie Tomlinson of Tyler; eight grandchildren and six great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one daughter, Jean Massey; one son, Kenneth Cannon and seven brothers. The family suggests memorials to: Home Hospice of Midland, 1802 W.
