Michael “Mikey” Jaird, 54, of Big Spring, passed away, Saturday, February 15, 2025.
He will lie in state from 8:00 AM until 9:00 PM, Friday, February 21, 2025, at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home in Big Spring with the family receiving friends from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM. Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 AM, Saturday, February 22, 2025, at the Nalley-Pickle & Welch Rosewood Chapel. Private interment will be held at Trinity Memorial Park at a later date.
Mikey was born July 16, 1970 to parents Francis Clement and Alice Ann (Bulley) Jaird in Springfield, Vermont. He worked for Union Pacific for over 30 years.
He is survived by his wife, Alisa (Scott) Jaird; brother, Matt Jaird (Cynthia); nieces, Gabriela Jaird and Erin Lowery; nephews, Zeke Jaird and Hunter Lowery (Krista); sister-in-law, Sonceia Lowery (Kerry); and his fur babies.
Mikey was preceded in death by his parents; his step-father Kenneth Crown and his fur baby, Popsicle
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Happy Day Humane Society.
