Michael Earl Burditt, 62, of Midland, TX, passed away on December 19, 2016 in Dallas, TX. Visitation will be Wednesday, December 28, 2016 and Thursday, December 29, 2016 from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home in Midland. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday December 30, 2016 at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home Chapel with Bishop Darrell Sutton officiating. Interment will follow at Resthaven Memorial Park.Michael Earl Burditt was born in Odessa TX to John Arthur Burditt Sr. and Vernice (Banks) Burditt on February 14, 1954. He attended school in Odessa TX where he graduated from Ector High School Class of 1972. Mike married Rose Mary Ellis on February 20, 1988 in Midland TX. Mike retired from Quality Body Works where he was a certified European auto finisher, certified to paint Rolls Royce, Jaguar and Porsche. Michael was a man of faith. He also enjoyed fishing and the Dallas Cowboys.Michael was preceded in death by his parents, John A. Burditt Sr. and Vernice (Banks) Burditt; siblings: brothers, John A. Burditt Jr., Donald E. Burditt, Andrew L. Burditt and sisters, Carol Denise Gadison (Burditt) and Grace Sharon Burditt.He leaves to cherish his memory: his wife of twenty-eight years Rose M. Burditt; three sons, Micah A. Burditt, Joshua D. Burditt and Zyan Y. Burditt, all of Midland, TX; one brother, David L. Burditt and wife Michelle of Odessa TX; one sister, Connie L. O. Burditt of Dallas, TX; and nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.The family of Michael Burditt wishes to extend our sincere thanks to Dr. Oliver and the medical staff of Fresenius Kidney Care Permian Basin, as well as the doctors and medical team at Baylor Medical Center Dallas for all of their dedicated service.
