Merrilyn had been my best friend since high school, over 50 years. I loved her laughter. Even in her worst of times she was a joy. I cried with her many times. She felt the cold touch of the death of many loved ones and I know she is dancing with them now. I know she is rid of her pain and in good health now in the hands of God. I will never forget her. I loved her.

Michelle-Chris-John and families, Your mom was a beautiful person who loved you all so much. Even though we lived far apart I will cherish the times we talked on the phone about our families and our times as sisters growing up in our family. She had a good heart and I will miss her a lot. I know she will continue to watch over you all and is so very proud of each of you. May God hold you all close as you grieve her absence on this earth. Rejoice in knowing she is pain free and smiling down on each of you. Love and prayers for you all. Aunt Brenda

It was so good to see Merrilyn in church the day before she passed away. Such dedication! She knitted a Bugs Bunny for my son many years ago, and I still think about it when I think of Merrilyn. Rest in peace.
