Melahrini (Millie) Duncan, 72, died on February 15, 2021 in Crane, Texas. She was born on July 1st, 1948 in Samos, Greece to Evangelia and Theodore Markou.

She emigrated from Greece to the United States in search of a new beginning. She initially settled in New Jersey where she met her late-husband, Bruce Duncan. They moved to Midland, Texas to begin their life as a newlywed couple.

Millie worked as a housekeeper and made many lasting relationships with clients and the residents of Midland, Texas. She was always characterized as being the life of the party and never afraid to speak her mind.

Millie met many hardships in her life however always kept a positive attitude and persevered in the face of adversity.

She is survived by her two brothers, Ioannis and George Markou.

The family will receive guests from 6:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., Friday, March 26, 2021 at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home, with a service of remembrance being held at 7:00 p.m.  Funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, March 27, 2021 at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home Chapel, with interment following at Resthaven Memorial Park.

Millie, Marilyn Park and myself were constant buddies and spent many hours dancing. She was always the life of every party, not afraid of anything, but faced heartaches. I miss her dearly but lost touch. I don't know how to reach her brothers, but wanted them to know she was an amazing lady and loved much by many of our old group.
