McQuester Glenn Walker “Quest/Glenn” 59 years
old departed this world on December 2, 2022, in Las
Vegas, Nevada. He was born to Jessie Lee Freeman-
Morris on February 19th, 1963, in Midland, Texas. Quest
attended school in Midland. He moved to Austin, Texas in
1983. In 1985 he married Angela Deboskie. Quest always
said he was married 23 years counting their dating time,
they were married 21 years and had three beautiful
children. In 1989 Quest moved to Las Vegas, Nevada. He
later joined the I.B.E. W Local 357 and became a
journeyman & Master Electrician while being a part of
the union. He was very proud of his profession and was a
mentor in his field. He was great at helping and teaching
others and loved watching others grow and advance.
Quest was not the light in people’s lives he was the
disco ball. He had a contagious laugh and was the family
comedian! He loved music, barbeques and dancing. He
opened his home to a countless number of family and
friends to visit or extended periods of time. He never met
a stranger, if you came into his presence, he would talk to
you about something and possibly tell a story or two and
at the end of the conversation you would leave believing
he was your best friend. He would lend a helping hand to
others whenever needed. He could help you with projects
over the phone like how to change a light fixture or how to
rewire your entire apartment.
Glenn was a loving, caring, and devoted father. He
loved family and keeping them together. He kept many
nieces and nephews for the weekends and summer, even
before having children of his own. He would attend all his
families’ extracurricular activities ,and he strongly
believed in family support. He taught many kids of the
family and friends how to: drive a stick, change a tire,
work on cars, and yard work. He was very competitive
and loved games and showed several people how to play
numerous games like chess, spades, and dominoes.
McQuester Glenn Walker beloved son, brother,
father, uncle, papa and friend. He will truly be missed but
never forgotten. He is preceded in death by
Grandmother Lillie Shaw, Mother Jessie Lee Freeman-
Morris and Stepfather Eljay Morris Jr. He leaves behind
three beautiful children, McQuester P. Walker, Abbriel
Denidriarose Walker, and Glenn DeAngelo Walker.
Grandson Roman Denarien-Paul Walker, two sisters Lillie
Harmon, Sandra Haywood (Morris). Five brothers Victor
Freeman, Leonard Freeman, Eljay Morris III, Timothy
Morris and Michael Morris. A host of nieces, nephews,
cousins and friends.
