Mary Kathryn Fogle White

Mary “Kathryn” Fogle White, age 48, a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend, peacefully passed away at her home in Midland, Texas, on August 9, 2026, with her family by her side.

Kathryn was born in Odessa, Texas, to George and Donna Fogle. Growing up, she participated in choir. In 1996, she graduated from Kermit High School and went on to receive her undergraduate degree and MBA in Accounting from Angelo State University in 2001.

After moving to Midland, Kathryn met the love of her life, Jeff White, while attending Sunday School at First Methodist. They were meant to fall in love, as they were the only two singles in the class. Jeff was drawn to her beautiful smile, pretty voice, patient and easy-going nature, and the way she always gave more than she received. He even overlooked her tendency to procrastinate. Kathryn and Jeff were married on June 21, 2008.

While building a life with Jeff in Midland, Kathryn worked with several companies, including Warren CAT, Tall City Exploration, and HiVolt Energy. She also had a short stint teaching at St. Ann’s Catholic School and Sam Houston Elementary.

In 2010, Kathryn and Jeff welcomed their beautiful daughter, Emerie Noelle. From that point forward, Kathryn’s focus became all things Emerie. Together, they learned all about gymnastics, cheer, volleyball, cross country, basketball, and track. They loved shopping together, and Kathryn was always on the road supporting Emerie in her many activities. Kathryn’s greatest joy in life was simply being Emerie’s mom. Emerie was truly her world – to the moon and back!

When Kathryn wasn’t traveling to watch Emerie, she enjoyed reading, scrapbooking, and watching the latest episodes of Dateline. She loved being at home and could often be heard singing while meticulously cleaning. She treasured drinking tea on her back patio with friends, traveling with family to New York to see musicals, and taking trips to the mountains.

Kathryn was an incredibly kind and loyal friend, a woman of deep faith, and an active member of her community. She served on numerous nonprofit boards, generously giving her time and talents to help others. Her kindness, generosity, and unwavering faith touched countless lives.

Kathryn was preceded in death by her father, George Fogle, and her father-in-law, Bill White. She is survived by her husband, Jeff; her daughter, Emerie; her mother, Donna Fogle of Kermit; her sister, Lena Dawson, and husband, Bob, and their sons, Todd and Phillip, and Phillip’s wife, Brooke, all of San Antonio; her brother, Matt Fogle, his wife, Candace, and their daughters, Caroline and Madelyn, of Edmond, Oklahoma; her mother-in-law, Donna White of Fredericksburg; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family members, and dear friends.

The family extends its deepest gratitude to all of the compassionate caretakers, doctors, and nurses they met throughout their 19-month journey. Kathryn never wavered in her faith. She was a light to everyone she came into contact with, and her remarkable strength was an inspiration to all who knew her.

Kathryn will be deeply missed, but the love, faith, kindness, and joy she shared will live on through her family, friends, and all those whose lives she touched.

It was Kathryn’s wish that everyone wear bright colors to celebrate her life, her complete healing, and her eternal homecoming in the arms of Jesus! Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 12 from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home, 3800 N. Big Spring St. A private graveside service will be held Thursday morning, August 13, for family only. Memorial services will be held on Thursday, August 13, at 11:00 am at First Methodist Midland, 300 N. Main St, with a visitation immediately following.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Kathryn’s memory to First Methodist Midland, Hospice of Midland, West Texas Boys Ranch in San Angelo, or a charity of your choice.
